The first round of the NBA Draft concluded on Wednesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, not being selected. Bronny's basketball resume includes a single season at the University of Southern California (USC), where he averaged 4.8 points per game across 25 games, mostly coming off the bench.

Bronny's college career had a challenging start due to a cardiac arrest incident during a workout at USC on July 24. He was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect but was later cleared to play. However, this health scare delayed his debut until USC's ninth game of the season.

LeBron James has until Saturday to decide whether to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers, a team he has played for since the 2018-19 season. LeBron has previously expressed a desire to play alongside his son in the NBA, although he has recently downplayed this goal. NBA history has seen several father-son duos, such as Dell and Steph Curry, but none have played simultaneously on the court.

With the second round of the draft still ahead, Bronny could be selected by a team picking between No. 31 to No. 58 on Thursday. This situation remains a significant point of interest for NBA fans and the James family
